I just completed in the Alice in Wonderland craft swap so I thought I'd post pictures of the things I made.

First is a Cheshire cat.

The face spells "Alice in Wonderland". I did the eyes and teeth in glow-in-the-dark thread and it really shows up nicely at night. I wish I had tried to get a picture of it. I put the design on a laptop bag.

Then there is this little hedgehog I made. It says "Bean" because that's the name of my swap partner's pet hedgehog.

I hope you all like them.

I found a picture with the design and converted it into cross stitch. I only had to do a little tweaking to make it work it converted so well.  Smiley

The design is crossed stitched in black and white. I was lucky enough to find red Aida to stitch on. The background of the original picture was red and I was lucky enough to be Aida shopping around Christmas, so it worked out perfectly.  Smiley

Thanks James. I really appreciate the compliment. I didn't catch all the words the first time I saw the picture either. It's a great design. I'd credit the artist but I can't seem to find the site anymore.

I was very lucky too. My partner made me the coolest oversized cup and saucer, handpainted, and the plate has my favorite picture of the white rabbit on it. The Alice swap has some really great stuff if anyone wants to check out the gallery over there. The crafts span a lot of different areas.

This is fab! I love the Cheshire Cat. Alice in Wonderland is way up there on my list of favorite movies (any and all versions!) and it has been since I was a kid. I'd really appreciate the pattern if you wouldn't mind PMing it to me. Amazing work!

I'd appreciate being added to the list of people you now have to PM that pattern to Cheesy

I don't xstitch very often. I'm wondering if I can turn this into a crochet patter... possible in Tunisian crochet? Hmm... so many options xD
