It is cotton and Chiffon I drafted the pattern myself I know it needs some ironing. It took forever to do the stripes I lined up all the pattern pieces at a 45' angel with the top corners touch so the stripe is continuos but angled. I dont think I will ever wear it out Roll Eyes but I love it so much Smiley. What should I wear it with if I was to go out ?
comment anyone?

Aww, that is so cute!  I would totes wear it with a black fitted t-shirt and my Doc Martens, just to go shopping and out for coffee/lunch.  It looks pretty comfy too.

That's a really cute skirt. I think it looks nice with the outfit you're modeling it with. I second the idea of a fitted black t-shirt and boots. You could add some black stockings or fishnets under it for some extra flare Smiley

Stop being so damned positive. Staring at the sun only blinds some one. By only looking at the positive, you miss an entire beautiful world of shadows and colors. Don't be overly negative, be realistic. The world is so much more complex and beautiful that way.

I think that skirt looks great, and like the girls above me I would definitely wear it out.  I'd probably wear it to a concert or something, maybe with an black top (with an off shoulder cut) or a corset-style top and some cute heels.  I like the cut of the bottom, its a very cute skirt.

Super cute! As for what to wear it with, I recently discoverd the magic of not matching. Not like clashing colors, but not worring about color schemes so much, if it looks good, I'll wear it together. It has been very liberating for me. But if you aren't quite into that, yes, black would be awesome, but also, try complementary colors. From the pics the fabric looks kinda maroon to me, so maybe a muted shade of green? It can be hard not to look like christmas in July, but I think a nice deep sage or something should work well.

Anyway, I love it, good job!
