I made this dress over the summer (my first! hence the awful zipper!!!!)
Made from an up-cycled sheet from a thrift store using McCalls 5292.

I love it.

WOW this is really cute. I love the fabric and the style of the dress. My zippers are still awful and I've put in somewhere around ten of them. Eventually maybe it will come to us? Haha.

I love this Dress and it looks just lovely on you!
And being made out of a sheet if you ever get a stain on it you can dye it any colour you want....hmmmm. reminds me I need to do some dyeing.

A tip for zippers. press the seams really crisply and hand baste the zipper on to the seams before you do it on the machine. Then you can get an idea if there is any puckering or anything. you could also use that basting quilting tape or hem tape on the zipper side too.
