That granny square one happens every month like clockwork.  I don't know how they do it, but it definitely takes commitment from the organizer.

This one just happens when it happens and I don't think (but don't quote me) anyone has organized this more than once.  As for me, I'm ready to pass the baton to whoever wants it.  I want to take a break from organizing for 2 to 3 months at least and just be a participant.  Organizing isn't bad, just adds another dimension to your life.

I want to try to do fewer swaps too, so far I'm not succeeding.  There are at least 4 coming up I want to do. Tongue  You will see I'm maxed out right now, but I'm done with all of them.  Three I'm waiting for feedback and two I'm organizing.  I want to wait for this one to be more finished up before giving myself feedback.  The inchie one has a way to go before I can give myself feedback.

So anyways, the position is up for grabs. Cheesy  Otherwise you will be waiting until early summer for the next one.

I should also note, I think this is a great swap for someone who is a first time organizer.  It is usually a pretty reliable group.  All of you are fab. Wink Cheesy

Maybe at some point I'll step up to plate and organize. I've been telling myself that I'm going to swap less (I also swap on another site). I like craftster much better (and more fun/inspiring for sure) in some ways, so I'm slowing easing away from swapping on the other site. I figure I could do both, but not sure if I want to! It's kind of hard to break the habit  Grin

And I was just surfing the crochet threads and found a few crochet-alongs I thought would be fun....

Here they are. There is a round one and a square one.

I love the round one. I made one for someone else in a swap and kept saying I want one for myself, but I so rarely knit for myself. It's just the color I would have chosen too Smiley And actually a color I sent my partner. LOL.

The square one is awesome too.

It has little holes in it. You can see them better on the black countertop, I think. What pattern did you use for this? It's great. It works really well too. Get nice and frothy Smiley I used it to wash dishes last night.

Thanks so much Calsters. Grin

Those are both gorgeous.  Correct me if I'm wrong Calsters, but I'm quite sure the square one is the Chinese Waves pattern.
