So, I've been crocheting for a little over a month, and today I thought I'd attempt something random and just started hooking. Smiley I had no idea what it was going to be until it was about halfway done, and my mom asked (on the phone) if maybe a can would fit in it. But nope. Then I remembered I have random beer in my fridge, and, miracle of miracles, it was a perfect fit!!! Yay!!!

Anyway, it's all done in half double crochet. It's orange and grey (hard to tell with my camera phone). The flower on the front is modified from a pattern in Happy Hooker ... mostly because I had an extra stitch, so there are six petals instead of the planned five. Oops! But I like it. Anyway, here it is!

I love it, and I'm seconds from making another one. Smiley

EDIT: I made another one. This one shows the colors better. The one on the left is for my friend who's a Florida Gator, so it's blue and orange.

It's totally girly. Way better than any other coozy I own. And it might even get me to drink that Miller Lite. But I did find out that they also fit skinny water bottles perfectly. Yay!

I decided to go all-out girly. The phone on my camera is much faster for uploading photos, but the color quality is awful. So it's baby pink, with baby blue and pale yellow flowers. The yarn was on clearance at Michael's. It also GLOWS IN THE DARK!!! How awesome is that?!?! Unfortunately, I can't capture the glowing in all its glory. Cry
