I've finished another baby blanket.  This one is for my neighbor.  She doesn't know what she's having, so it's fairly neutral.  If it's a girl I may add a pretty edge to it, but we'll see.  It's just FPdc and BPdc, very easy, just takes a lot of yarn!  Now I am working on a rather complicated one for my baby-to-be with popcorn stitches and cables ..... something i'd never done before!  Can't wait to see how it turns out.

I made a preemie basket weave blanket once and it took forever so I can't imagine how long that one would take me.  it's gorgeous.

thanks everyone! i really love this blanket and hate to part with it.  It's so soft and has a lovely weight to it!  I don't remember it taking too long, but I am working on a rather epic baby blanket for myself so not really a good comparisson!

Do you have a link to a pattern for this one?

i saw a pattern once, but don't remeber now.  basically you do your foundation ch in fours, plus 3 for a turning ch, then do a row of DC.  after that do four sts front postDC and four sts back post DC, alternating as you go.  after 4 rows of doing FPDC and BPDC you do the opposite .... okay that was  a bad explaination ...... google is your best bet!

It's so pretty.  I just found out that my friend at work is expecting twins in July.  I would love to make 2 of these for her.  Do you have a pattern or what stitch did you use.  I love it.
