I was wondering if there is anyone interested in doing a swap based on the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon...  It looks like there was a small one done last year, but I'd be interested in organizing another one with a few more people if possible.  Perhaps in March after the opera I'm designing has opened.
Anyone out there as in love with Jamie and Claire as I am?

I was thinking about 1 large, 1 medium, and 2-3 smalls.  Thoughts?

I'm not doing personal swaps right now, but if you're interested, go ahead and PM me anyway--maybe we can work it out for later. Smiley

Yay!  I'm thinking of letting this linger for a little while, and if we get some more interest having sign-ups at the end of February, and have all of March to craft...  What do you think?

I organized the last swap and it was a fun one.  I'd be interesting in participating if more people are interested for the next round.

I would be down for this. Those books are such a guilty pleasure for me!

March sounds good. Smiley

And I don't think they're particularly guilty! Wink Unless you're referring to the sex parts--sometimes I do feel like I should be tucking them under my mattress. But at least they're literary, too Smiley

Ha!  Mostly, they're so deliciously long and when I read one I can't put it down. It really sucks up a few days and nights of time I should use to work on my thesis, or clean my house, or eat or sleep...

I know what you mean about them being so long... I'm a *very* fast reader, and yet they seem to last so much longer, which in a way I suppose is good.  I read them all back to back last year, just after finishing grad school, so I had plenty of "down time".  Though when I look back at it, I got very little done that month aside from reading all the books, then flipping through my history books to brush up on that period.  I'm rereading now, and I've managed to NOT let them take over my life quite as badly.  I'm most of the way through Dragonfly In Amber, but I'm getting more nervous as I know about the separation coming...  It makes me so sad even though I know what happens!
