Ok, so my girlfriend had this oooold, worn out harness that has become too small for her. If anyone here is in the position to need/want one of these wonderful things, then you know a new one cost big bucks! So I thought I would try my hand at making one!

Here are a few pics of the process and final result. I am super duper proud of myself but i'm planning to make one for a friend of mine, so any suggestions would be super cool!

this is the original harness that i traces to get the basic shape

this is the paper pattern i traced from the original harness. pretty simple.

i used a thick beige twill kind of fabric for the inside. it is the fabric that bears all the pressure. the dark grey is suede and the outiside, so it will be all soft and pretty.

this is the entire thing all put together. i know the carpet is ugly and the lighting is ugly and colors are kinda off, but it's really super pretty in person! i promise! hehe

this is a close up of the D-rings that the butt straps attach to. i'm especially impressed with myself on this. it looks all professional and poop.

and this is the final final product with the O-ring attached!

i spared you the pic with the dildo in it, but suffice to say, i think it's gonna work out well!

yay! thanks for looking!

Wow, your really crafty. I've seen these in the Fascinations store here in town and most of the harness or straps are super expensive. Professional looking job. Was it hard to work with the leather? I have only made cuffs before and had to really soak the pieces in water to get the cuts and fit just right.

gotta love crafty sex toys!

It looks so professional, and far more durable than the original.
Kudos to you!

Excellent! I've always kind of wanted a harness like this (regardless of the lack of use it would get lol)
It's pretty great that you made one, I know they're usually crazy expensive.
I like yours better than the first one <3

Beginning of school year resolutions: Granny-square blanket, scarf for the man, swimsuit bottoms, better organization for crafting supplies, computer case of some kind, 2 amigurumi and a pair of underwear.

Yay! Lesbo crafters unite! This is awesome. I never would have thought to craft my own. Not to get graphic or personal, but is it functional?

The leather is very thin and really just for aesthetics so sewing it was no problem. It came from an old jacket. The great thing about it is I only spent like $3 for the whole thing. Haha.

Haven't gotten to " test" it yet, but it is super sturdy and feels pretty nice on. Can't wait to find out how well it works tho!

Thanks everyone for your kind words!

Those are amazing! Also, I love the material choice for the first and  how you made them look more feminine then your standard store bought faire. Your lady is a lucky woman.
