Our hospital had an Artisan's Fair for Nurses Week last year and I made necktie purses to sell.  Here are a few of the purses that I made.  Please let me know what you think.  I'm thinking of participating in this years Artisan's Fair as well.

The green one's really nice. I like the colours, and the spiral pattern - I would never have guessed it was made of ties if you hadn't said so.

Thanks, everyone.  Yes, the green lady is a tie.  I stitched over the design lines with white quilting thread to make her stand out more.  The navy blue tie on that bag was a Dolce & Gabbana tie.

I work for a children's hospital and picked up a lot of ties at our White Elephant re-sale shop.
