After doing a few international swaps Im noticing the postage costs rising and wondered if there were enough people interested in doing a local swap.

I have just done a "Let me make your craft" swap and loved it.  Doing it in Aus only will make it a little cheaper too!!

If you are keen, post a reply and see if we can get it off the ground.

Cheers

I'd love to do an Aussies only swap, but not a "let me make your craft" one. I've too many crafts of my own to keep up with!

Ok, so I don't currently qualify, but I'm sure by the time this all organised, I will...so count me in!

We had a trans-Tasman swap a while ago and that went really well too!

hey sarah - I thought you were a Sydney girl:-)

I guess we could revise it and make it an ANZAC swap to include out InZid cousins :-)

And if we do one in April that could be a nice tie in with Anzac Day :-)

Anyone want to throw around some ideas?  I was thinking that if it goes well, it could be fun to do a 6 month swap or similar as its much cheaper to do that here than with OS swappers....

Maybe we could do a six month swap, Aussies and enzedders, but swap partners each month (this seems fairer, in case someone flakes). Domestic postage sounds wonderful! I've spent a rediculous amount on international postage lately!

I agree with the joys of local post.......

It could even be fun to have some loose themes per month thath allow you to fish through your completed craft draw to send out stuff you've made earlier..... takes some of the pressure off making new stuff all the time

My only concern is that I havent organised a swap before.  Im happy to give it a go if everyone is happy to be gentle with me, or if you have a burning desire, you are more than welcome to take the reigns.....

Speak up if you want to drive this, otherwise id look to start something in april after my life settles down a little.....
