The Mythical and Magical Seahorse

I did some more resin pouring and learned something new: If you're going to do layers get an early start! I began pouring at around 1pm and by 9pm I was still at it >:-( So naturally I tried to hurry and therefore didn't do them the way I planned them and then of course they didn't *turn out* the way I planned them! But I still got some that worked:

...and a pendant. The reason I say I "rescued" it is because this was originally 2 rectangular pieces. The inclusions were not properly embedded in the resin so the glitter and micro beads would rub off. I decided to epoxy them together and sandwich a silver-plated bail in between:

I'd be interested to know what people think of these pieces. I'm determined to keep practicing pouring resin 'til I'm an expert at it!

They're great!
I especially like the snowman and the rectangular one with the tiny beads.

Thanks all for the comments and compliments!

When I bought the little rubber tiger face it was the only one they had left in the store. Maybe by now they have more and I can get some and try them in rings and pendants.

I was originally going to make them as Chinese astrology round pendants (the tiger and the rooster; not the snowman  Grin) but as it came time to include the paper astrological wheel I had photocopied I realized it was too big to go in :-(
