My first mosaic!

I've been working with glass for only a short time.  I'm *getting* the hang of it.  The base was a patio block from the home improvement store.  I glued the pieces on with E6000 and grouted it with unsanded grout.

I'm Ok with how it turned out....for my first piece.  I think next time I will try to get the mosaic pieces closer together. They seem a little too distant from each other...but I'm happy enough with it.  Smiley

I'm planning on donating it to a local children's charity that does a annual motorcycle run in the spring. They'll use it for a door prize. I think it will go over well...!

Not bad for a first mosaic! I do however agree with you that the pieces need to be closer on your next project to achieve a better visual effect.
