I have been a lurker forever, haha.  Grin Thought there should be a change.
These bookmarks are really simple, but we all have to start somewhere, right?  Smiley

I made for a lady at my church, whose sister is working as a counselor to tend to the psychological needs of those who were in the Sichuan, China earthquake. Hopefully they bring a smile to some of them.

They are made from anything I found at home. The first one on the left I wanted to experiment and I sewed through felt and a piece I cut out from an old greeting card. The second one was inspired by the 'Footprints' poem and is made from construction paper that was lying around. The third one, I just cut out the bottom of a greeting card and from the same card cut a bird out and pasted it on. The fish one is also made from a greeting card and the fish is from an earring.
The ribbon is just leftover, I started to run out....:S

Thanks for looking!

What a wonderful project to start posting with, something made with a charitable heart.   Good Job.

"I'll fix dinner right after I _______ this!  You fill in the blank: sew, hammer, glue, tack, press, cut, etch, tie, paint, draw, color, iron, solder, grout, saw, cross stitch, bend, stain, wire, build, weave.
