I love any creamy soup with corn!  I made this soup when it first started getting cold, blogged about it, but totally forgot to post it over here!

It's really simple!  The base recipe is here along with my post about it.  You can keep the same basic ratio and increase and decrease the amounts to how much of each stuff you want.

This soup has become a favorite with my family.  My grandma has invited me over to her house to make it, my mom has invited me home to make it for me... it's total family comfort food.  It's the kind of soup you sit around the table and sip while sharing stories of the past and present.

I hope you enjoy it too!

Hello!  Today is a good soup day--in Southwest Florida, no less.  We've been on the cool side the last few days, like almost the entire rest of the country.  Anyway, I tried your chicken, rice and corn soup and it is wonderful.  I think you should call this comfort food.  It certainly was a comfort to us today.  Thanks!

Yeah, its my comfort food of choice during the winter.  Whenever I need comfort food, this is the first thing I think of.  If I don't have the time to make it, I usually end up making creamy tomato soup with curry... that's my second choice.
