I have been lurking around for a long time but never posted before.  I am very new to beading and have been gaining inspiration from all of you talented ladies.  I was trying to make a bead out of seed beads.  I am looking more for making a cluster of seed beads, instead of using a filler bead to wrap the seed beads around.  I googled till i turned blue in the face, but I haven't found what I'm looking for, well, except for tutorial for 30 dollars, and I'm not really willing to spend so much till I'm sure I'm committed to (and capable of) jewelry making.  Any help would be mucho appreciated.  Thanks!

Did you google beaded beads?

I just did and was intending to pick a good link to post, but there were several good pages showing how to make beads from small beads without using a base beads, so I thought I would just post the google search instead. http://www.google.com/search?source=ig&hl=en&rlz=1G1GGLQ_ENUS242&=&q=beaded+beads+instructions&aq=1&oq=beaded+bea

I did google beaded beads last night and the only place I found what I was looking for was bead infinitum.  But the hollowed beads (the ones where you don't have to put another bead inside of it) they are charging for.

You can try making a Dutch spiral cocoon using these instructions.

how about this youtube video?

Another thing I find is interesting is 2x2 Silver crimp beads. They're affordable (compared to other silver findings) and they REALLY look beautiful against beaded swarovski crystals and even AB seed beads.

Anyway,
Hope that helped!

Recently I made a beaded bead out of seed beads with this tutorial: http://3dbeading.com/jewelry/ball_bracelet/1.shtml

Just make sure you have a clear head when you start...I was a little tired and did something fooey. Had to rip it out and start all over. Ugh.
