So there is this man, who happens to be my man, who is a mechanic, who fixed my timing chain a few months ago.  If you have never seen this surgical procedure done on a vehicle, the crank shaft and cam shafts have to be properly alligned and not one tooth off or lots of foul language happens.

I found and borrowed the heart image from a some t-shirt site.  And here is what that mechanical stuff really looks like, curtesy of Google images.

I finished this tonight so I have tomorrow to frame it.  (I borrowed the frame from another painting for tonight to see how it will look.)  Oh yeah, I had to put the crappy border on it to hide a mistake.  We were on the phone and I was laughing so hard I dropped the damn paint brush with red on it. LOL

I'm just showing him some love.  Thursday is his birthday and VD is coming soon.  Manly enough to keep the parts guys from razzing him and decorative enough to hang in the shop.

What do you think?  And thanks for peeking!

"I'll fix dinner right after I _______ this!  You fill in the blank: sew, hammer, glue, tack, press, cut, etch, tie, paint, draw, color, iron, solder, grout, saw, cross stitch, bend, stain, wire, build, weave.

It seems that different people have an idea of what I am, and what I should be. And then there's me.
