Holy crap! That is so much (beautiful, gorgeous) work!! I'm hoping to buy a house in May, and now I guess I feel a little less apprehensive about renovations...though I doubt ours will be as extensive or fabulous as yours.

I'm not doing personal swaps right now, but if you're interested, go ahead and PM me anyway--maybe we can work it out for later. Smiley

My husband and I bought a, ahem, fixer upper circa 1904 and you have inspired me to get off my lazy butt and get to finishing up our house (things like massive keep-the house-from-falling down projects have been a priority) and our dining room has been painfully languishing. I am inspired!

Gorgeous! I love love love everything you guys have done with this room, as well as the other beautiful rooms you've shown us! You've been a real inspiration for me during the restoration of my house which was built in 1908. (I was also just reminded of your husband and the screw incident. eesh....)

It breaks my heart you broke that vintage tile instead of ripping it out though. People who are in the process of restoring old homes search high and low for that sort of thing. Sad
