Oh, wow! It's been a long time since I've posted here. But I'm back to show off some of my pieces. Smiley

First up and most recently finished: a pink a white sweet lolita skirt and heart-bow headband with pearls.

The hair piece laying against the skirt.
The pearls look a little odd from the lighting, in some of these, but the two smaller sizes are pure white, and the three large pearls are pink.

Pink x White Gingham Seersucker, and White Cotton
Eyelet & Cluny Lace, Rayon Braid
Fully Lined
Fully Serged (4 thread overlock = ♥)
Invisible Zipper & Hook on side
Fixed waistband, no elastic

Pattern drafted by hand.
There are 17 yards of ruffles in this.

I'm not personally fond of sweet for myself, but I wanted a change from staring at black or bordeaux, and have been meaning to clean out the fabric pile.  Smiley

Thank you!
And yep. 17 yards, on the dot. Even when I'd made the pattern and cut everything out, it wasn't until I was hemming it all that I sat back and calculated exactly how many yards it was.

Next up, some items finished last year.

First, a high waisted skirt and heart-bow headdress.

Forgive my less than stellar job with the iron (it was drycleaned prior to being packaged and I did not care to risk the dog hair to wrestle it back on the dress form), and forgive any issues of fit on the dressform. I would also like to point out that my two fullest petticoats are on that dressform beneath the skirt. Those ruffles were heeeavy.

All fabrics 100% cotton. Venise lace and decorative rayon braid.
Fully lined. Invisible zipper (+ hook and eye closure). Lightweight boning. Panel of elastic and lacing for fit. Three rows of ruffles (bottom is between 8 and 9 yards wide, middle is ~5.5 yards and top ruffle is just shy of 4 yards e_e).

---

Next is a Rose Headdress. Roses made by hand

---

And finally, a small bow clip as a gift for a friend.
