I made my newphew, R.J., an over sized Doubtful Guest from the Edward Gorey book. This guy took a lot of work, but he was my favorite of all the stuffies I made this year. His body was fairly simple to construct, being 2-D. The fun part was making his little red sneakers and his scarf!

Here is a shot of me hand stitching his tiny red sneakers.

And a shot of me getting ready to cut him out!

Ack!  I'd give my right arm for a doubtful guest stuffie!  He's fantastic!  Your nephew is very lucky.

It's awesome! He looks just wonderful.

I love making 'big-kid' plushies, though they take more of just everything naturally. Also love Edward Gorey stuff of course. Smiley
