I  bought this skirt at a thrift store when I was in high school because it was just too awesome to put back on the rack. it was like a size I dunno, hamster. But i really loved the material. A few years ago i made this from it. I LOVE it. Smiley The frame isn't my fave. Maybe a super shiny dark turquoise or cherry red??? any input??? Thanks!

I can't believe that it's material--it looks so much like a drawing on paper.
I say turquoise, although I don't think you can go wrong with black.

I love this! Great way to use the skirt, I don't think I would have ever thought of it.

I love the piece! I would vote for a dark frame, either black, dark red (to catch the red in the picture), or a dark turquoise (to capture that green or blue in the background.

I can't believe it was a skirt! I wouldn't have left it behind either!

Can't wait to see how the frame turns out!
