Oh that's gorgeous!  Love the tail detail, and the mirror.  Smiley

Thanks for the compliments everyone. I did the beading over waste canvas using a cross stitch pattern from a book of Elizabethan cross stitch patterns. I altered it slightly, the mirror originally showed the reflection. Two eyes and a nose and the rest pink. I used silver beads instead since I thought it looked strange.

It, of course went with Breemonkeys theme of Mermaids. and also green although that was just a byproduct. I was tempted to do a fish on the other side to incorporate "food and nutrition" but time got the better of me.

I'm glad it got there finally. I was one of the first to receive and sent on the last day.

If you organize the next round, can you post something here to let us know?  That way when I check my bookmarks or 'replies to my posts' I don't miss it.

This was fun and I would love to do another round!!

Thanks for organizing this!
