I had a brain wave last night about this project! There has to be someone out there who ALSO has a project that they poured a lot of time, love, and money into that they now don't like and don't want to finish.
You could start a thread where people post pictures of their half finished things and see if any of those inspire you. Then, if your project inspires them you could trade projects! So you'd get theirs in the mail and go crazy with finishing it, and they'd get yours in the mail and go crazy finishing it and then you could switch back (or not) and BAM-finished cool thing to hang on your wall!

Huh- I think maybe this idea sounds better in my head than all typed out.

I dream of a house covered with your art, and would love a personal swap. Pm me if you'd like to spread the crafty love! I also need blue fabric scraps for a scrap quilt!

i just have to say - your creation is amazing!!

i do have to admit from the thumbnail, i thought it was a man with a beard crouching with a gun...and the title to the thread has me giggling in fits....(the word 'ugh' and beards give me the giggles....dont ask....)

i have SO MANY half-finished things, or "finished" but have turned out total crap, that sit at the back of a cupboard. but yours has turned out amazing and i think you should be so proud of yourself!

also, i think the idea of the other post, where you swap things you don't like, finish each others, then send it back, is a great idea x

I kinda thought it was a old man breakdancing at first.  Tongue OOPs. I like it though.
