Salvador Dali Clock

I was inspired by the melting clocks in "Persistence of Memory". It is made of an old clock mechanism, leather, silk and puff paint. My mom helped me sew because I lack sewing machine skillz. The clock actually works as long as the face doesn't obstruct the hands. I put a snap button on the back so it can fold over and stay, such as when it hangs over a stick.

Very clever!  We've all seen clocks with an amorphous shape based on Dali's, but I'm pretty sure yours is the first actually flexible and portable one!  I'm also hitting "This Rocks!"

its so funny that this is up on the home page now.. I was tryng to come up with ideas on how i could do m own version of the painting as a picture.. i mean photograph something like that for a project i am workin on this year..
