I work in an IT office, and I come across tons of old computer equipment. So naturally, I had to find something to do with at least SOME of the stuff.

This has turned out to be a very cute, petite necklace. The pendant is a recycled volume knob from a broken CD burner. It's rather neat to play with; it still turns up or down. So if you're bored, you can pretend to turn the volume of people's voices down around you.

The chain the pendant is hanging on is actually recycled cat 5e cable. I've taken out the green pair to use as a nice accent to the pendant. A friend has soldered the clasps on.

My little Sister-in-Law was nice enough to model it for me.

That's very cool! I wish I had more to say, but I'm at a lack for words.

Ok, this is really great.  It looks very professional.

I have lots of computer parts, but I could never figure out what to do with everything.  Now I have lots of inspiration.

Super cute.  I may have to dig through my box of old computer parts and start recycling them into cute jewelry!

Ah, that's lovely! The colours turned out so well. I've seen computer parts necklaces before, but they were always bigger, not nearly as subtle or as nice at this. I'll have to see if my brother will let me scavenge his box of broken computer bits, next time I'm home.

Awesome! I really like that the chain is a cable. I've been wishing for some computer chippy things to mess around with, I'm jealous!
