Tell your son he did an awesome job.  I always threaten to paint things plaid but never do it, maybe now i will be inspired enough to actually plaidify something.

Now he's working on his new music studio and it's just a bigger canvas.  4 walls with 4 different colors and the door is going to be another plaid project.

That's awesome. I wouldn't have the patience.

Something I've recently learned... to prevent the paint from bleeding under the tape, if you put a coat of varnish on first then paint it, the lines come out perfect.  Grin The varnish sort of puts a seal between the tape and the surface so the paint can't seep through.
