I know it's a little late, ok a LOT late, but oh well. I made this dress for a friend to wear to prom. It was originally going to be backless and have a different top part but she decided it was too risque. risque-smishque I say. Anyways, so this is the more modest version. I painted my hands various hues and then made the prints all over the black fabric, then sewed it. It's sort of different as far as prom dresses go but I like it. I ended up wearing duct tape to prom, so I suppose might have been a teensy-bit more out there...

Super cool! As someone who sold formal wear for a while, I can tell you that there are LOTS of girls that end up going in the same dress, this one is sure to make you stand out!
