So I was approached by a co-worker recently who was aware of my minor obsession with making crochet Sackboy dolls from the PS3 game, Little Big Planet.

Well, this co-worker wanted a Sackboy, too, but not just any basic old Sackboy.

She wanted one dressed like Mr. Spock from Star Trek.

"OMG", thought I. "How funny would a SPOCKboy be?"

After a bit of planning, a bit of improvisation (I heavily modified RichmondArt's Crochet Sackboy pattern from Etsy--Pretty much only the arms are unchanged, and even they have extra rounds and length added to increase size), and about a day of work, here he is:

I'm seriously considering a Sackboy Data next, because he's my fave, though Capt. Picard is tempting, too. Smiley

Actually, I need to do something for the Discworld swap, so the next one will probably be a Nac Mac Feegle or another DW character.

I know. No creature on Earth does the "Stupid human!" look better than a cat.

So cute!  You should stitch the first two and second two fingers together so that he can give the "Live long and prosper" sign!

And I vote for Data next!

Freaking awesome!  I especially love the pose in the second pic - I may have to abandon my lolcat and use that as my desktop background Wink
