I'd rather swing on the moon than a star.

Probably won't make it. Between the two HP releases and a family picnic, looks like my weekends are booked this month.

Sorry ladies! Eventually, I'll get to come to another one....

Anytime is fine with me, other than the 19-22 my month is pretty open, we can even try for the beginning of August if July doesn't work for everyone.

I am guessing that everyone is swamped with summer activities!

Are we skipping July?  I am having major landscape work done and have to do my part on the weekends...so I have not been doing much crafting!

I miss you guys--heard from Bongirl5--she is hanging in there but it is tough for her to be so far away from her honey (and to move back in with her parents--ha ha)...but she is going to be continuing her sewing...can't wait to see what all she makes now!

I think skipping july is probably a good idea at this point. All of my Sundays in august are free at this point so if someone wants to throw some dates out there i would be happy to host. As far as the craft goes I would love to take Devilninny up on her offer to teach needle felting.

i would love to do needle felting OR heat embossing as mentioned.  i have the supplies for both, but with needle felting i have only tried it twice, so please note that i will only be showing you what i know and providing the materials.

there is also a class being offered in lancaster this fall on needle felting.  it would be fun if a bunch of us wanted to attend that!

and i hate to say this, but i think i will be busy until after labor day weekend.  i work 10 hour days now and evenings and weekends will be dedicated to setting up my new classroom and a BIT of a social life with my boyfriend.  haha.

so sorry girls...

My weekends in August are rapidly filling up so maybe we want to shoot for sometime in September. Also I would be interested in the needle felting class, do you have more details?
I would still be happy to host in September when the time is closer we can pick a day.

how's everyone doing?

i have what i think may be carpal tunnel...?  all i know is i am getting a lot of hand/wrist pain when i do anything that involves me to constrict my hand (cutting, using pliers, etc.)  it means no crafting and im so sad!

Woo hoo--are we going to meet in September?  How about if we think of some fall project to do--I was thinking that maybe we could do some sort of mosaic?  Maybe we could find a cool item here that we all would like to try?
