Good for you!  You know that I would love to get together with you and have a sewing session!!  That is what I did with bongirl5 and look at how she has gone to town!!! And, of course you are going to be good at it...you will have a great teacher.. Wink

I also had a great time and Jim helped clean up so it was quick and painless--he said he loved hearing us all laugh from downstairs! He is intrigued with the mircroscope pendants so looks like I will be getting some supplies and a new soldering iron!! Thanks so much a_patchwork_orange, for teaching us and being so generous with your time and supplies!! YAY!

Yay!  You know you want to sew Devilninny!  You'll do great, especially with Alwaysinmyroom and me (and Daisy, too) to help you.   Grin

I had a great time on Sunday!  You all did so well with the soldering.  It makes me wish that I had had someone to show me how to do it when I first started....you should see all the awful, lumpy, bumpy, soldering messes that I created!   Tongue

We still need to decide where, when, and maybe most importantly, WHAT we are doing next time!  Any ideas yet?!

Hey guys!  I didn't want to post these pics just by themselves, in case you guys didn't want your pictures totally public.  So here's the link to the album! Smiley  And just for good measure, I threw in a picture of the crazy squirrel just chillin' on the branch.

alwaysinmyroom - thank you for hosting, the lunch, for being a wonderful mentor, and basically for being you.  I had such a great time with you guys, and I'm going to miss you terribly.

I had so much fun learning to make the microscope slides and it looks like i'm going to be teaching some others to do it! I would be happy to host again if everyone wants to come to Lancaster.

well if anyone is interested in needle felting i have plenty of roving and a few needles and the foam.

polymer clay?  i have some supplies for that too...clay, pasta machine, powders.

stamp embossing?  i have all the supplies for that too...

if you dont mind hosting, daisydesigns, i will offer to bring supplies and "teach" this time!

off to think of more suggestions...

I would like to know more about stamp embossing--I have a fear of hot things so I am conquering this fear by learning how to do things correctly!  I have a heat gun but I am afraid of it... Cheesy

I don't mind driving to Lancaster either, but it will be a loney trip without my buddy bongirl5  Cry

Hey everyone,

Just checking in to see when everyone wants to get together this month. I will be out of town the 19-22 but other than that anytime works for me. And I will be happy to host again!
