I would love to see your finished projects since the rest of you did such lovely stuff!!! (grumble grumble!)

Hey, alwaysinmyroom, I found a link you'd love!  Everybody else at the meetup seemed much more experienced in embroidery, so I thought I'd share my discovery with you. It's like knittinghelp.com, but with embroidery! http://www.needlenthread.com/2006/10/video-library-of-hand-embroidery.html

I'm still practicing, and very excited about it. Smiley

I loved having everybody over! Embroidery just takes some practice to get the stitches even, I still struggle with my knitting being uneven so just practice, practice, practice! Can't wait for next month!

Thanks for having us over to your place DaisyDesigns!  Your puppies are adorable!

I agree, practice is the key!  Tongue  Although it would be great to be able to just do it perfectly right away!

I can't wait until next month either. I am sure I will have all sorts of fun wedding-stuffs for us to do!  Thank you all for being so excited about helping!  Yay!  I already feel less stressed about the whole thing!  Grin

Alright, everyone, I need some input on the next meet up!

For the past several days I have been thinking that the 13th would be great for our May get together (Thank you all again for agreeing to help with wedding prep!)....However, I looked at a calender this morning, and realized that is Mother's Day!  This isn't a problem for me, especially since my Mom will probably be at this get together, but how do the rest of you feel about it?  Would it be better to wait another week, and do it on the 20th?  Feedback on this would be appreciated!

And, for a little change of pace, and as a way to thank you all for helping, we (Mom and I) will take care of refreshments and (obviously) all the supplies - all you will need to bring is your skills! Wink
