i was recently made unemployed (boooo) but found that all this spare time could be used to try out new crafts (yaaaaay) so i decided to attempt.....headware.

these are my first attempts at The Fascinator. it wasnt that difficult to make, but unlike so many people on craftster, i am a first-timer-all-fingers-and-thumbs and havent mastered the Professional Finish yet. these objects also required the first usage of a gluegun....which im now obsessed with! much to the hatred of my burnt fingers! anyway, onto the headware.....

1) lacy-bow on teardrop

2) ruffled heart (love this, its very sensual in real life.....waaaow!)

3) sequinned heart....as inspired by my boobie-tassles.

the last one - i did it, then discovered this was already on craftster!! http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=246780.0  i like to think it somehow inspired me through some unconsious medium....perhaps all pasty-owners think alike?

now now this is my 1st post so if ive done something wrong or something doesnt work, sorry sorry but i hope you like the headgear! so please comment away! x

Very cute!

You might try finding better lighting for your photos, though. I've found the best thing to do (aside from spending money or time making/buying a lightbox), is simply to take pictures beside an open window where the sun is shining in. I put down one of my solid-colored jackets as a base, and snap my pictures when the son is out.

It's a little frustrating, having to wait till daylight hours and all, but the pictures turn out a LOT better, even with my fancy $600 camera.

No swaps right now :_(

thanks for the feedback, guys!

thanks for the tips on the photos - i know i'm really bad at choosing a good spot, then get overexcited about just taking a shot, i'm so impatient.....but i'll def try taking better ones by a window (tho there isnt that much sun over here in the uk atm.....)

also, i found the tutorial for these little humdingers - i found the link for it on craftster:

They are all amazing, but I especially like the ruffled heart one - all of these would be great to wear on Valentine's day.
