this is my first finished big-ish crochet project.. other than the typical hats and scarves that i hold so dear, and my first post on this board. now that i know how to resize pictures i'll sure to be posting more. Smiley i made this little blanket for a friend of mine who is due with her second baby in march. i single crocheted 3 strands of vanna's choice baby in 'boy colors' with a pretty big hook... i dont remember what size it is. it turned out soo thick and soft.. it came together very quickly using the 3 strands. i wanted to keep it for myself! i couldn't wait any longer so i gave it to her already. luckly i got a couple pictures before i did though.

here's a crappy kinda full picture..

and here's a close up of the colors i chose

C&C welcome Smiley

Great color combination!

Congrats on trying a 'big' project! I am still working up the nerve.

How cool that the simplest stitch is so beautiful with those colors.  Congrats, it is awesome.
