Slight back story: My Mom hates Armadillos. They tear up her garden, flowers, etc. One even bangs on the down spout at night when she's trying to sleep. She shoots them and drags them off to a place she has termed her Armadillo graveyard. Now, I'm not a big fan of this, but she's my Mom and I love her.

So, for her birthday this year, I broke out the freezer paper and made her a couple of shirts. (Paint's a bit more even once it dried.)

I also made a card:

hehehe! I had a little too much fun with this one!

I'll admit, I'm with your mom on the hate fest.

And you are a wonderful kid for making such a great gift for her.  And I love the matching card.  Very cool shirts.

Those are so funny! I'm not really a fan of the whole killing animals thing either but, if she's going to do it anyway she might as well have a fun shirt to wear! And I think that the card was a nice touch  Grin

I don't know which is funnier: the shirts or the idea of a lady takin' out armadillos vigilante-style and burying them out back.

I don't know which one of us was more anxious.......your mom walking by her presents every day, waiting for Tuesday (or Wednesday lol)....or me waiting for the pics to load with my crappy dial up LOL It was worth the wait for me and I'm sure it will be for her also. They look AWESOME!!!!!! The card was the icing on the cake...armadillo wearing a party hat....HA! Good Job! Cheesy

This is AWESOME. My stepmother and dad have a vole problem. I bought him an air rifle and still need to drive it down to him. I may make a couple shirts to go along with the present lol. I think the dog needs a RIP small animal shirt too. She's a miniature dachshund and it cracks me up to see her point and go get a critter after it's been killed.

Grin Seriously funny. I used to live in TX and these were the roadkill speed bumps....my mom used to hate them too, when she tried to plant a garden - it just didn't work out Tongue

But, until we built a fence, I felt the same as your mom....now, if only the deer would leave the front flower bed alone!!!  Angry
