I made this box for my 7 year old niece to hold all her secret stuff. I have decorated one box before, but mostly with paint. This was a first with so much other stuff added on.

There are scrabble tiles, iron-ons, an old map (of Florida area where grandparents live), beaded brooch, rhinestone bracelet, tarot card type thingy, puzzle pieces, wood bead and a bunch of paper...I painted the box first - had to be blue since she says too much pink is for woosses.

Not even sure if she's touched it - but I liked how it turned out.

i like how its personalized to your niece, it's something she'll treasure forever.  isn't it crazy that 7 year olds can already be divas?!
