I  recently realized that I love to make things and my soul hurts when I don't.

Before starting this project, I just looked around my house for inspiration items. I went into my closet and found a big bag of craft scraps that I had gotten from a thrift store. I immediately was attracted to a great piece of vintage floral fabric, some blue ric rac and some dusty blue ribbon. I knew these items would look great with a gold frame that I had for years and never used, because it's just too gold to take seriously(it needed some kitsch!). Finally, I rummaged through all of my embroidery patterns until I found one that I loved. It took me about two and a half hours to stitch. I thought it would be faster, but the print on the fabric was making my eyes go crazy!

I hope you all love it as much as I do!

I do love it!  Very fun, and your stitching is lovely.  Smiley  I also love that you said the frame was "too gold to take seriously," hehe.
