xmas is over and here are a few of the quilts i sent out this year.  not many comparatively speaking for me. but i treated myself to a less stressful holiday with lowered expectations.  and it worked. i drank too much. stayed up too late and only gained 750g.

for my aunt. she is notoriously picky about gifts.  if she had displayed anything other than graciousness and gratitude this was going to be offered free to a good craftsters home.

for friends. who loved it. they saw the top done at halloween and gushed. i finished it for them. they were surprised.

two pics of this one.  aww what a pretty and tradtional quilt ...
that has this on the back

a cuddle quilt to go with an original quilt

and finally two baby quilts for cousins.  or should i say two MORE baby quilts for two MORE cousins. (seems they all had babies this year)

Beautiful!  I especially love the second one, withe the bright colors and black - I wish I had the patience to make something like that - one day!

Wow, you have so much patience! I love the fabric choices on the first one, it's very neutral retro,  Smiley  The second just makes you happy looking at it with all the fun colors, how long did it take you to finish that one? I like the black outlines, it really makes the colors pop. Where did you get the space fabric? I have a newly interested in all things space 5 year old who would love it? Overall wonderful job, you should be proud!

I love all of them.  The one with the black outline is definitely a fancier version of the one I made my dad for Christmas.  Now I'm going to have to try doing it that way too.  The skully pinwheel one is fascinating as well.  I'm working hard to cut my scrap stash way down, so I'm always looking for new ideas to use them up.

The other ones are lovely as well and I hope all the recipients were quite gracious and honored to receive them.   Smiley

They all look like great quilts, but I think the first one is *extra special*, well done Smiley Smiley!

They look great. The second quilt reminds me of stained glass windows and I love the windmill quilt. I bet the recievers loved them.
