Wait wait wait.

You're a noob??  Your spinning is so fine, even, and beautiful!  And you navajo-plied!  Congrats, you're a natural!   Cheesy

I have no idea what you're talking about, so here's me with some yarn on my head.

Aw, thanks guys   Cheesy

I think I'm a noob...  these are my 4th and 5th skeins (pretty sure).  I kind of jumped into the deep end with spinning, I think.  My first project was cotton, which I now understand to be a big challenge for many spinners, so I think that set everything else up to be pretty easy.

As for the Navajo plying, I did find it trickier on the wheel than with the drop spindle, but it's well worth it in my mind for not having any wasted singles when you're done - once I've spun it, I want to use it!

Of course, I also took pictures of the prettiest parts of the skeins.  There are some definite "Oops!" areas wrapped up in there.   Tongue

How long were the fibers in the puppy fur?

There's quite a bit of variation, but for the most part I'd say about an inch.

Sweet.  That's about how long all my bunny fur is.

I love pet yarns!  The puppy's fur looks so soft and warm, and as another noob, I'm very impressed with how fine you've managed to spin with such short, fluffy fibers.
