Hello everyone,

I did a project for my wedding where I found vintage postcards, took the ink off, and then typed them up with our information.  It was a lot of fun and everyone seemed to enjoy them.

They're posted here with pictures and directions:   http://ruffledblog.com/2010/03/diy-vintage-postcard-save-the-date-wedding-typewriter/

If you like them please go here: http://ruffledblog.com/2010/04/diy-contest-time-to-vote/
where you can vote for me to win $500 towards my wedding.  Gah, we need it too!  Just leave a comment that you want #4 to win!  This blog is also a great source for DIY project inspiration!

Hope you like them!

WOW!! I really like those, and I can certainly appreciate how long that must have taken for you to do! You should certainly consider selling those on Etsy to fund your wedding. Smiley
