Animegirlie has had a stressful weekend and was unable to get pictures of her package but she has received and I am kind of proud of two of the items so I wanted to post.

Firstly, Animegirlie has TERRIFIC taste.  I want to steal her entire wist.  I also don't like copying anything so I tried to use things as inspiration only.    So here is the inspiration... http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=5340482

And here is what I made... (or an awful picture of it)

I painted cherry blossoms with a red background onto puzzle pieces and glossed them using nail polish (my mod podge looked funny).  I then burned holes into them and made jumprings for them.

And then a nerdy piece of jewelry made from the circuit board of a keyboard which i took apart to add some things to a bag of whimsys.

It's reversible

There is also a piece of plastic from the inside of the keyboard that sits next to the skin to avoid the bits scratching you.

I think she likes it.

I received 2 wonderful packages recently and now its time to show off the goodes!

Mimik sent me an awesome assortment of ATC ephemera, I've already started sing a few of the peices.  It was so much fun rooting through everything and there were a lot of vintagey inspired things.  I also received some note cards, a stack of blank notecards for my own decrating and a small scrapbook.

And today I got a lovely package from Velvet Rose contaning little notecards to put into swap packages plus a few extra notecards to decorate myself with cute little decorative leaves and this really neat sparkley fiber that I'm not really sure what its called but I cant wait to start using it!  On the notecards, the ornaments on them are actually raised off the surface of the card, but my camera had a hard time capturing that.

Thank you for a great swap!

The sparkley stuff is hot fix angelina fibers which I fused with my iron. I figured you could either use it for ATCs or put it inside resin pendants. Same with the skeleton leaves.

I was totally thinking along the lines of ATC'c with the fibers, thats a great idea fusing them all together with an iron!
