I received the most wonderful package from Lafemmefatale!
She sent me not only the thread cutter that I had on my list, that so pretty btw, but also, a beautiful cross bead (since I wanted to but wasnt able to join in on the christian swap at the time), a postcard of where she works (the place is so pretty! I wanna go now!), a piggy good luck charm that is just too neat! (hehe I had pet pigs growing up so this was perfect!), a card with a very sweet note inside, and inside a little pouch she made, a beautiful and very special ring that I will be honored to wear as she raided her grandmother's collection of goodies to make this lovely and special piece.

I am afraid my close up shot doesnt do it justice as I had a time with my lense making things fuzzy the closer I got or tried to zoom in. but its all just wonderful.

From what I can tell, that ring looks absatively lovely. Have you tried finding the macro lens on your camera to take those close up photos? It normally looks like a flower.

well, lol, i tried several settings and i am not sure. i took probably 11 pics and went with the one that was closest and most clear.  tomorrow i will try again at taking a pic, making sure i use that setting, and hopefully it will turn out better so everyone can see just how truly lovely a ring it is. thanks for the tip!

I am pretty sure I have pictures on my home computer. Plus I made one for myself from the other one of my grandma's earrings so if I don't I can take some   I know you have been having problems with your hands Im Sew Silly so I wanted you to have something to make them happy.

Also, I didn't sew the pouch, Claire 313 did.  My lovely tree of life pendant came in it and I wanted to pass on the swappy goodness.
I'm definetly reconning more of my grandmothers jewelry because it's a great way to keep her close to me even if her style was never good for me.
