Very nice clean stitches and placement!

I make these for friends, too, but I think yours are prettier!

These are so fabulous!  I especially love the hula girl...

Those are adorable!  The hula girl looks amazing too.

Now I'm going to go crazy using sublime patterns now that I get to buy bibs and onesies for our little future crafter.  7 months to go...we may need a separate room for all the finished embroidery stuff. Wink   I have to get some of those bibs, $1's hard to pass up.

Mmm. I LOVE those bibs! Are they stretchy? I had been using some terry bibs that come in a 3-pack at IKEA (ridiculously cheap Swedish stuff), but they are somewhat hard to stitch on (terry - grrr) - the stitches get LOST in the pile.

I also thought how GREAT your color choice is - Jenny, have you ever thought about including a chapter on color choice in one of your books?

Some people just seem to have a knack for awesome color choice!

thanks for the compliments!

wanda - they're not stretchy. they're actually a thick type of canvas with simple double fold bias tape as binding. they'd probably be super easy to make yourself, but since they're usually $1 (or less on a sale day) i figure it's just as easy to get them already made!
as far as color choice i guess i might be one of those with "the knack." i just pick what i think looks okay, but advice on how to do it is ALWAYS welcome... Grin

I've found that the disolving sulky works well for stretchy materials.  you can use the spray adhesive that disappears in 5 days or less works well, also sulky brand.  they make it clear so you can see thru it, or trace the design onto it.  it makes the pile less difficult as well, especially if you use it as suggested, one sulky sheet on top, two on bottom.  I wish I had found this when I first started doing bibs...

as for mine, I buy terry cloth ones from babies r us...they come in an 8 pack for about $9, and are in many colors.  I also just bought the ikea ones.  I'll be using one of those for a spirograph bib, to match the onesie I just did.  I'll post pictures when I'm done with all of my latest baby shower gifts...I am painting on half of my sublime stitching designs this time, since I just didn't have time to embroider everything.

I love this poster's bibs.  they make me happy.

great bibs!!

If these walls came crumblin' down
Fell so hard, to make us lose our faith
From what's left you'd figure it out
Still make lemonade taste like a sunny day
