Wow - I love the way one simple item can inspire so many different ideas.  Everyone's work is great!  I received my bookmark from ineedart (love it!) and as soon as I get some batteries for the camera I will post a pic ...

Got this piece of shrinky dink ... had it for 25 years now.  It's moved to five states and one European country ... and I just know, someday ... SOMEDAY ... I WILL use it!

I received the most beautiful bookmarks from two of my partners today...again...I feel totally spoiled! I have so many ideas for a round 2...for some reason I was stuck on paper....now I know better.  Grin Anyway....here are my bookmarks:

From laideebug: I look a picture of it next to a pen so you could see how delicate the design is....she did it on her sewing machine and it is lovely!!

And Rhymeswithorange sent me two gorgeous bookmarks: One she cross-stitched and it is perfectly 'me' (sorry it drove you nuts!) and a great metal bookmark:

Thank you so much ladies! I hardly dare put them in my books lest my son find them....they will surely have places of honor in my books. Oh, and Rhymes with Orange...is that special bookmark Aida cloth you stitched on? The edging is lovely!

stuckmachinic,  I'm so glad you like it.  I had bought that fabric recently just hoping I could think of something to do with it.  Of course; I still have most of it, but I did enjoy using a little of it for your bookmark.

Here are my bookmarks I received today from lovesit and imakite:

This one is from imakite and is really long and sturdy and lacy, it'll be used for my thick textbooks where I can never find a 'normal' bookmark because they're so big Cheesy  I don't know if you can see the little butterfly in the top corner.  I had said I'd love something tatted and this looks like it's tatted (was it?) - it's so cute!

Lovesit sent two - a cool corner bookmark, I've never had one of these before, and a laminated black one with ribbon, and they are both gorgeous.

Thanks so much to both of you, I love them all!

ack I'm getting so jealous and anxious,  I've yet to recieve form any of my partners, but they had to send up to canada, and I have no idea how long it takes to get from there to here.

All the books marks are wonderful!!   Love the idea of a corner book mark!!  Also love the one with the magnet in it, and that was one from my group, I hope I get one like it!   might make it harder to have it pulled by little fingers.....
