Yeah, that's why I just had to show the envelope.  My husband said, "Hey, they paid attention to the note, because they ripped it to pieces but they didn't bend it".

U.S. postal service doesnt like this swap

I sew, paint unfinished wood, sketch, make jewelry, crochet a bit, loom knit, and sew. Pretty much if I can get my hands on it to learn, then I will know it. Maybe not perfectly, but enough for a hobby.

I'm sorry this has taken me a few days, I kept forgetting to bring it home from work as I keep a book there for reading at lunchtime and I put this bookmark to use straight away  Cheesy  I received this from ohthat, and the photos are pretty bad so ohthat, if you have better ones please post them.  I couldn't use flash as it kept bouncing off the shiny surface and there is no natural light in our apartment at this time of year... anyway.

It's lovely, thank you so much!  And again sorry for the poor photos.

I have some feedback to update and I'll do that tomorrow, don't think I've forgotten!  Grin

Here are two bookmarks I rec'd today from Taniquel.  My daughter is obsessed with all things Australian, so she will get the one with the stamps.  I'm excited to mail it to her because I know she will just love it!  Thanks Taniquel for being willing to take a special request!  The green woven/sewn one is breathtakingly beautiful.  My photo doesn't begin to capture how rich the colors are.  My daughter will want that one too (simply because an Australian made it... lol) but I think I'll fight her for that one.

I've been a bit slack in posting, but finally have pics of the wonderful bookmarks I received:

The one on the left is from Syri is a gorgeous hand drawn chickadee, the blue sky is translucent. The next one is from Ohyana, and is inspired from my wist. (gotta love the myelin sheath, I'm such a nerd Smiley) The sweet green bird is from stuckmachinic and the other two are from Gamemom42, the one on the right doesn't come up clearly in the photo, the gloss of the butterfly stickers cover up their detail.

Sweet bookmarks all around!
I've been sick much of the week, but I did receive from all the folks in my group.  I love them ALL!
Will post photos tomorrow (working a double shift today, but just wanted to check in)

late but still gonna say it:

the envelope says "do not bend"

i've heard this draws attention to your package and they get more damaged than if you leave it blank. i have noticed when i tell my postal people it's 'fragile', they rarely stamp it. just my observations.

Oh I got my last bookamark (or actually two bookmarks!) from Taniquel today Smiley I'm going to post photos tomorrow, now I'm a bit too tired. I'm so happy about this swap! And I'm glad you like my bookmark, too, Taniquel Smiley

well you're magic he said but don't let it all go to your head
