I made these because my fiancee has a thing for Thai Milk Tea, but not for the tea that gets through the infuser and nylon bags.  I made these as a solution!  I blogged about them in more detail here: http://whatmegmakes.com/?p=121

Nifty!  Could you turn them inside out and toss them in the dishwasher, or would they have to be washed by hand?  I wouldn't want to put them in with my clothes, I don't think..  Smiley

my infuser is tiny and always spills tea bits out. this is a great idea!

You could, but since it's such a loosely woven fabric & because of the moving parts in the dishwasher... I'd be afraid to.  I usually just rinse them out with really hot water after each use.  If I'm feeling especially clean, I use hot water and a little dish soap and rub the heck out of them.  It doesn't take more than a minute.
