Helping others with my crafts

I have been reading here alot and have seen alot of good ideas. I love to do crafts and crochet so I was thinking of making stuff and donating to hospitals or animal shelters. I did make my cat and the Pastors wife's cat a Snuggly Tubby, so with all the exra yarn I might make more.

that sounds like a great idea! i currently sell my crocheted designs (along with my mom) and give 15% of each items purchase price to charity. I LOVE being able to do this and feel like I am using my crochet talents for a bigger purpose. Currently we are raising funds for the organization Postpartum Support International which helps women who are suffering from Postpartum Depression get the help that they need.
