Before the holidays I finally finished this Mario Cross stitch. I got the pattern at Sprite Stitch: http://www.spritestitch.com/?p=247, and it took me 18 weeks (in 10 months) to finish. It is stitched on evenweave over 1 (my first non-kit project, and first on evenweave, didn't realise I needed to stitch over 2) with hand picked DMC colors.

That's fantastic!  I think you did a fabulious job, and what a lot of work...  I'm working on something made of evenweave over 1 myself and I give you credit for working on something so massive!

The colors look just like I remember them when playing my old Nintendo.

Looking to de-stash cross stitch magazines, particularly Cross Stitch Gold or New Stitches?  Please drop me a line!  I'd love to swap or buy some missing from my library!
