thanks for posting it norah!  i am always afraid to post my projects when i "borrow" ideas from other people (especially when they are selling them)... but i have seen a few of these around and i don't think it's just one single person's idea.  so i guess it's probably ok.  i'm glad everyone likes it!!  it was so much fun to make.

i thought of that too, but then i think about the fact that we do "craft my wist" swaps, which is pretty much a swap full of "borrowed" ideas.  and all the crafts on here that use copyrighted characters, etc.  i think as long as you're not posting about selling them we're okay.  (right?)

i promise she made this for me out of the goodness of her heart, not for money.

AlwaysInspired contacted me requesting a wallet and offered to make me the needle book I have long been coveting...even though I sew, I just didn't feel inspired to make my own and I knew someone out there would be able to come up with something super creative and really perfect...and that someone was AlwaysInspired! Without further ado:


Note the AWESOME sewing themed embroidery. I really love that it's a pincushion...and man does it look good!

Pockets for my seam ripper and small scissors.

She also made a pin cushion out of the most awesome fabric EVER and I'm now on the hunt for it:

You can't quite tell...but she took the images from the fabric and made shrinky dink pins out of them! They're super cute!

Golly. I saw the necklace, thought "THAT's bizzare." and then realized -- that's mine! "treasure necklace" is very kind. It all started with a some beading hemp and a little blackNwhite heart. But things happen

I did a personal swap with slingmomma. She's in Canada, and I've been wanting to try Smarties, so she sent me some, along with a couple of handcrafted items.

I did a personal swap with AbbyRose and look at the lovely goodies she sent me! We agreed that I would receive 3 cloth pads, but she ended up sending so many more! I love the fabric colors and patterns and it's SO soft. I can't wait until my period comes around again so I can try them out!













Honestly, they are SO beautiful and so well made. Everything is perfect. I can't believe how spoiled I got and I've got severe swap anxiety now! I really hope that what I sent was enough...Aren't the pads pretty? They feel so soft and comfy too. I wish I didn't have to wait 2.5 more weeks for my period!
