Disclaimer: I'm a really crappy photographer.

Atsuko and I did a personal swap. I sent her two broomstick lace scarves and she sent me a fresh water pearl and cystal braclet and also earrings.

You can't tell in the pics but the earrings have a little light green in them. Both are absoluately gorgeous! Thank you again Atsuko!!

When she was good, she was very very good - but when she was bad she was fabulous.

I recently received the MOST AWESOMEST swap items from oohmybees!

Here are the coolest "slither "arm warmers she knitted for me after I saw the ones she made herself on her blog:

Here is a pic on her blog of my arm warmers in the process of being knitted.  They are SO cool!  I love the way they fit just perfectly. And, I received several compliments on them while wearing them on a chilly day at a local ren faire.

Another item she sent is a beautiful rectangle-shaped Mokume Gane Necklace similar to this one that she has available on etsy.  I tried to take a photo, but I couldn't get the lighting right to do it justice.  She has some really neat stuff on etsy worth checking out including some clever instant cemetaries and more gorgeous jewelry and ornaments!

For my end of the swap I sent my can tabs Turkish Vest pattern, a mini paper mache witch boot and some assorted supplies.

Thanks for all the nice things you said mieljolie Grin.  The buttons look great, I'm glad that I didn't have to sew them on!
I got the most awesome paper mache witches boot.

I had seen the one she made for the Once You Pop Halloween swap, you can see it here

I love how she painted it !!!, it looks like two shoes in one.  The paint is sparkly/metallic, which doesn't show in the photos and there is an adorable pumpkin cameo accent on the laces.
She also sent me some vintage patterns and pamphlets for embroidery stitches and an altered pattern for this, Which I have just starting working on, when I finish I'll update this post.
I had a wonderful time doing this swap and hopefully we'll do another swap in the fall.
