So a while back RondaS sent me some yarn I initially got a taste of in the odd ball yarn swap and I fell in love with it.  The yarn is discontinued, so she sent me what she had left.  She already posted the scarf I sent her in return earlier ( http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=286073.msg3290425#msg3290425 ).  I was hoping to get a good start on the Bella Mittens before posting, but that unfortunately isn't going to happen soon.  That is what I'll be using this yarn for though.  Any left over will be used for a matching hat and cowl.

Here is the yarn with my cable swatch:

A closeup on the swatch (though the color is more accurate in the first picture, the flash makes this pic look a little garish):

Thank you so much RondaS.  The yarn looks fantastic knitted up.

So awhile back Digital Misfit posted pics of the package I sent her. I received my package from her today! We sort of have an on going swap thing. I always have a package in the works for her. When I see something I know she'd love I either craft it or grab it and start a new box. This box was mostly crafty goodies!
A beautiful tote bag she won in a giveaway and was nice enough to think of me. It is seriously huge! A yard of geisha fabric that I love, 2 little containers full of goodies, 1 is buttons and the other is whimsy sort of stuff, 3 little canvases, a pair of earrings for my Grama, a sheet of black shrinky, cute reindeer paper, candy, cock soup *snort*  Cheesy, 2 little silk poppies she made, and a pin from an artist I adore!

Close up of the poppies because she was worried there wasn't enough crafty goodness in the package! I love them and will be making them into hair accessories.

Thanks DM!

Wow, what a sweet deal.

I love the poppies, I always say I'm going to make these, and then I don't.

I did a great personal swap with Tinkswings! I made her daughter a Tinkerbell doll and she made me a box of the most wonderful bath products ever!
2 star shaped washclothes, 2 bars of soap, 1 bar of kitchen scrubbie hand soap, 1 massage candle, 1 of each scent of her massage melts, 1 lemon meringue pie lip balm, angel cheeks balm, sugar scrub, body frosting, and 4 bath gumdrops (2 of which I am sharing). It all smells so good! I plan on taking a bath before bed just to use some of it!
Thanks Tinkswings!

I am so glad that you liked your box of goodies.. I am so excited that we swapped.. I am sorry for not posting here earlier.

OK so I wanted to make my Little Miss Belle a tinkerbell poppet but knew that it would be not what I had pictured so I figured I would see if AlwaysInspired would like to swap with me. To my delight she said yes she would love too.. she did such an amazing job on Tink, she took sooo much care in creating her and even blogged it so that I could watch! This doll will be treasured for a life time! Here is the VERY first action shot, taken WAY past Miss Belles bed time but she brightened up and was soooo excited when mommy opened the box... see!! Thank you soooo much for swaping with me AlwaysInspired!! Your work is outstanding!
