My mom bought this yarn and its SO cool. Its fat in some places and skinny in others and reminded her of dreadlocks. I did a ton of swatches to try and find the right pattern for it. Most of the stitches I tryed were too stiff. The stitch I ended up using was the lovers knot stitch. It drapes and flows really nice. Thanks for looking!

Is Lover's Knot stitch KNIT?

Lover's Knot Stitch is a crochet stitch.  Here's the directions for it:

Chain 1 & lengthen the loop on the hook.  Yarn over & draw through the long loop.  Insert the hook between the long loop and the strand from the yarn over.  Yarn over and draw and the yarn through this space.  Yarn over and draw through both loops remaining on the hook.

For the trellis:  Crochet 8 lover's knots for foundation chain:
Work 1 single crochet into the 5th lover's knotfrom the hook.  *Work 2 lover's knots, skip 1 lover's knot from the previous row, and work 1 sc into the next lover's knot.  Repeat from * until row is completed.  Work three lover's knot and turn.  The previous row has created an arch with a lover's know in the middle.  Work 1 sc into the middle knot.  * Work 2 lover's knots.  Work 1 sc into the knot at the middle of the next arch.  Repeat from * until row is completed.

**Please note these are not my instructions.  They're taken from the book Teach Yourself Visually Crocheting by Kim P. Kerker & Cecily Keim.  I've crocheted for years, but I love this book - terrific pictorials and reference book!!

Thanks for the love guys!  Here is a link to the lovers knot stitch. It was so easy and fast. I think it only took like two hours or so.

My mom got the yarn at TJ Max of all places. I will check the label when I get home. It really is the most bad ass yarn I have ever used.
